The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who enjoys being hands-on and taking ownership of issues from identification through resolution. You are comfortable troubleshooting building systems and equipment, coordinating contractors and vendors, supporting event preparations, and tackling everything from routine repairs to basic technology and AV-related issues.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary onsite decision-maker for critical facility outages or urgent after-hours emergencies before escalating to executive leadership.

Develop, coordinate, and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for building systems, equipment, and property infrastructure.

Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, repair priorities, and improvement opportunities.

Perform and coordinate hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs of facility equipment, fixtures, furniture, appliances, and other property assets.

Coordinate the maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, kitchen equipment, building controls, security-related infrastructure, and other critical facility systems.

Manage day-to-day vendor performance reviews, service level agreements (SLAs), and routine contract renewals for local service providers.

Assist department leadership with tracking monthly facility-related expenses, minor repair estimates, and forecasting basic operational supply costs.

Provide basic troubleshooting and support for televisions, displays, audio/visual equipment, connectivity, and other technology-related equipment throughout the Club, partnering with IT or outside vendors when additional technical support is required.

Oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, kitchen equipment, building controls, security-related infrastructure, and other critical facility systems

Manage, assign, and respond to facility tickets within the system, ensuring issues are prioritized, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.

Maintain a working knowledge of Club technology and equipment to help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic operational issues.

Manage relationships with facility vendors, contractors, and service providers, including scheduling, service coordination, quality control, and follow-up.

Respond to facility issues and coordinate timely resolutions with Club leadership, vendors, and internal partners.

Participate in an on-call rotation or provide after-hours support as needed for urgent facility issues, equipment failures, emergencies, or other operational needs within the Club's 24-hour environment.

Support event preparation and execution by assisting with facility setups, equipment placement, furniture movement, power needs, AV coordination, and other property-related requirements.

Partner with Club leadership to prioritize maintenance and repair needs while minimizing disruption to members, guests, team members, and daily operations.

Conduct periodic internal compliance reviews for local health, life-safety, and building code requirements to maintain audit readiness.

Help track facility-related expenses, service agreements, repair costs, and project needs while supporting departmental budget goals. Coordinate facility improvements, equipment installations, repairs, renovations, and other property projects from planning through completion.

Maintain preventative maintenance processes, facility documentation, service records, and vendor expectations.

Maintain accurate records related to inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, service agreements, equipment, and facility projects.

Support compliance with applicable building, fire, life-safety, health, and workplace safety requirements.

Assist with emergency response and facility contingency procedures related to equipment failures, weather events, utility interruptions, and other property-related incidents.

Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Food & Beverage, Security, IT, Finance, Events, and other departments on facility-related needs and projects.

Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency, control costs, extend equipment life, and prevent recurring maintenance issues.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of Champions' operational goals.

Experience & Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in facilities management, property operations, engineering, building maintenance, or a related field.

Previous experience within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, entertainment, private club, gaming, or another high-volume guest-facing environment preferred.

Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, kitchen equipment, building systems, and general property maintenance.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on facility equipment, fixtures, appliances, and other property assets.

Comfortable using Google Applications and troubleshooting basic technology, televisions, displays, audio/visual equipment, connectivity, and other electronic equipment commonly used within a hospitality or entertainment environment.

Experience coordinating preventative maintenance programs, repairs, vendors, contractors, and service providers.

Experience supporting facility projects, equipment installations, renovations, or property improvements.

Familiarity with facility operating expenses, service agreements, repair costs, and basic budget management.

Working knowledge of workplace safety, building compliance, and fire/life-safety practices.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects, priorities, and time-sensitive operational needs.
