Field Application Engineer – Smartcard (Munich OR Paris based)

Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

• •Drive technical sales presentations, product roadmaps, and training sessions for customers.
• •Lead customer technical requirements to ensure smooth product selection, evaluation, and design-in.
• •Provide expert technical support to customers and internal teams across the EMEA region.
• •Troubleshoot system compatibility and software implementation issues.
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and streamline communication.

Skills and Qualifications

• •A strong background in semiconductor engineering or a related technical field.
• •At least three years of experience in design, product, or application engineering for smart card applications or products.
• •Expertise in secure silicon, smartcard solutions, and cryptography.
• •Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• •Strong communication skills in English, with French being a strong plus.
