Finance Transformation Business Change Analyst

Job Description:
The Business Change Analyst supports Finance & Strategy transformation initiatives that are shaping the future of Finance work. The role helps teams adopt new processes, technologies, AI-enabled tools, and more efficient ways of working by supporting stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness, and adoption activities. The analyst also uses approved AI tools in day-to-day work to streamline routine tasks and increase delivery efficiency while applying sound judgment, protecting confidential information, and validating outputs for accuracy. Working alongside change management leaders, project teams, and Finance stakeholders, this role translates transformation priorities into practical actions that prepare team members for change and support sustained adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of change management activities across Finance & Strategy transformation projects, following established plans, tools, and guidance.
- Assist with stakeholder identification, change impact assessments, readiness reviews, and adoption risk tracking.
- Draft and maintain clear communications, presentations, FAQs, talking points, newsletters, and other change materials for varied Finance audiences.
- Coordinate training logistics and support the development of job aids, learning materials, session content, and participant resources.
- Collect stakeholder feedback and adoption data through surveys, interviews, meeting notes, usage reports, and support channels.
- Prepare status updates, dashboards, and summaries that highlight progress, risks, emerging resistance, decisions, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, office hours, and engagement events, including agendas, materials, notes, and action tracking.
- Partner with project managers, Finance subject-matter experts, process owners, technology teams to keep change activities aligned with project milestones.
Required Skills and Capabilities
- Foundational knowledge of organizational change, project coordination, communications, learning, employee engagement, or adoption principles.
- Ability to translate Finance transformation priorities and complex project information into clear, practical, and audience-appropriate communications and resources.
- Ability to use approved AI tools responsibly to draft, summarize, organize, analyze, and streamline routine work while protecting confidential information and validating outputs for accuracy.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through when coordinating multiple deliverables, deadlines, meetings, and stakeholder needs.
- Ability to gather, maintain, and interpret stakeholder feedback, readiness information, adoption data, and project updates to identify themes, risks, and actions.
- Proficiency with presentation, spreadsheet, survey, collaboration, and basic reporting tools used to support change delivery and measure progress.
- Collaborative and service-oriented approach, with the ability to build effective working relationships across Finance, Strategy, technology, and project teams.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn emerging Finance processes, technologies, AI-enabled ways of working, and change management practices.
- Sound judgment when handling sensitive information, escalating risks, and balancing speed with quality.
- Commitment to inclusive, accessible, and employee-centered change experiences.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Approximately 2-5 years of experience in change management, project coordination, communications, training, business analysis, operations, Finance, or a related support role.
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects, preparing business communications, coordinating events or training, or maintaining project documentation is preferred.
- Exposure to Finance transformation, enterprise systems, process improvement, or digital adoption is helpful but not required.
- Change management, project management, or Agile training or certification is a plus and may be developed on the job.
Success Measures
- At least 90% of assigned change deliverables are completed by agreed deadlines and meet project quality requirements.
- Stakeholder, impact, communication, training, readiness, risk, and adoption trackers are updated within five business days of receiving new information.
- Meeting notes, decisions, risks, and action items are documented and shared with overdue actions followed up consistently.
- Communications, training resources, and engagement activities achieve project-specific reach, participation, completion, or satisfaction targets defined in the change plan.
- Stakeholder feedback, resistance themes, readiness gaps, and adoption risks are summarized and escalated within agreed reporting cycles to support timely action.
- Approved AI tools are used for appropriate recurring activities, with quarterly examples demonstrating time saved, faster turnaround, or improved consistency without compromising accuracy, confidentiality, or quality.
- The analyst demonstrates measurable growth in independence by owning an increasing share of routine change activities and applying feedback across successive Finance transformation milestones.
