The Role, Key responsibilities:

Monitor and manage key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance your department's effectiveness, producing cyclical reports to demonstrate team performance.

Lead a small Accounts team to align their duties with business objectives

Ensure your team are equipped with the tools, training and mentorship required to achieve their professional development goals.

To identify and deliver improvements in the work of the financial control team.

Lead a diverse team, dispersed across multiple locations, nurturing a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Contribute to and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with the overall business objectives, ensuring financial stability and growth.

Oversee aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, providing timely and accurate financial insights to support decision-making.

Support with financial risk management, implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, providing financial guidance and insights to support operational efficiencies and strategic initiatives.

Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and external stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships to support financial goals.

Manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and integrity.

The successful candidate will:

The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge and leadership capabilities.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Excellent leadership skills.

Proficiency in financial software.

A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
