FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy OASN (FM&C) of ASN.

Duties

• •You will perform advanced financial management analysis supporting all phases of budget formulation, justification, execution, and strategic financial operations for organizational programs and activities.
• •You will develop new approaches and methodologies for financial planning.
• •You will prepare detailed analytical justifications and interpret complex budgetary policies to demonstrate regulatory compliance and support management review.
• •You will ensure the development and maintenance of comprehensive audit trails for all budgetary transactions and decisions, providing transparency and accountability for financial operations.

Qualifications

For GS-14 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with updating training strategies, career roadmaps, and training plans to support command initiatives and audit priorities. Experience with recommending allocations of command wide Financial Management community training funding in accordance with annual funding and established priorities. Experience with Human Capital Strategic Planning, metrics collections and reporting. Experience developing and updating command guidance and instructions. For GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with command Financial Management Programs and implementing instructions and manuals. Experience in the development of command guidance and instructions. Experience with registration and tracking systems established for a financial management workforce. Experience with assisting in identifying and arranging employee development and training requirements.
