Supervisory Management Analyst

Summary

The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory Management Analyst responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating strategic communications activities supporting organizational priorities, executive leadership initiatives, operational objectives, and stakeholder engagement efforts. Advises executive leadership on communications strategy, analytical reporting, organizational assessments, and program effectiveness. This position is located in the Human Resources Division.

Duties

As a Supervisory Management Analyst at the GS-0343-14 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following: Advise senior leadership on internal and external communication strategies involving high-visibility, sensitive, or mission-critical issues. Coordinate communication efforts across organizational components to ensure consistency in messaging, executive correspondence, branding, and dissemination. Represent the organization during meetings, conferences, interdivision workgroups, and strategic planning sessions involving communications and organizational initiatives. Develop and manage recurring and ad hoc reports related to organizational initiatives, communications activities, operational performance, and executive priorities. Provide administrative and technical supervision to subordinate analysts and support staff performing communications, reporting, and analytical functions.

Qualifications

TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit Promotion applicants must provide an SF50 Notice of Personnel Action that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF50 must include the position, title, series, grade, step, tenure, type of service (Competitive or Excepted) and career status (career or career-conditional). No award SF50 will be accepted as proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the experience required for the grade level(s) to which you apply. To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, you must meet the following: Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties: researching, compiling, or synthesizing information from multiple sources to produce analytical reports, briefings, or written products that support management decisions; applying analytical methods to program or organizational data to identify trends, gaps, or areas for improvement and present findings to supervisors or leadership; drafting or editing written materials such as reports, briefings, white papers, or correspondence for review by senior officials in accordance with applicable guidelines; and coordinating work activities across organizational units or with external stakeholders to accomplish program goals and ensure consistency of information or products.
