Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Cedar Rapids, IA (Blairs Ferry Rd.) . In this role, you'll operate professional floor care equipment, maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets, and help keep a large retail facility clean, safe, and ready for customers every day.

No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Blairs Ferry Rd)

Pay: $15.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• •Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• •Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing
• •Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• •Perform restroom and general cleaning duties as needed
• •Follow safety procedures and company standards
• •Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns
• •Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• •Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently

Qualifications

• •Must be at least 18 years old
• •Reliable transportation required
• •Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• •Ability to push and pull floor care equipment
• •Strong attendance and reliability
• •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• •Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required
