Food Service Worker & Teacher Assistant

A typical day for a Teacher's Assistant will include:

• •Working alongside the Lead Teacher to create a safe, healthy, structured, and nurturing environment.
• •Engaging with children in learning - reading, playing, and having fun!
• •Inspiring children to be lifelong learners.
• •Partnering with families to nurture and care for their children.
• •Showcasing your tech savvy skills by using an electronic daily tracking app.
• •Assisting with the accreditation process as well as other quality initiatives.
• •Implementing curriculum and assessments.

A typical day for a Food Service Worker will include:

· Order, inventory food stock and supplies for meals

· Prepare meals and snacks on a daily basis

· Comply with safe food handling guidelines

· Assist in the creation of a safe, healthy, structured and nurturing environment

· Communicate positively with parents

· Attend meetings and trainings

· Assist with the accreditation process as well as other quality initiatives

· Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Our learning centers are open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. We have locations across Rhode Island
