LOCATION DETAILS : 950 E. Avenue K , Grand Prairie, TX 75050
WORK HOURS: Monday – Friday 8:00PM – 4:30 AM (OT as needed and during peak season Jun-Dec).
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Our BSN Sports Warehouse Forklift Driver is responsible for selecting and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse setting.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Reports to the shipping office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment, vehicle inspection sheet, and replenishment discrepancies sheet.
Inspects assigned lift and completes vehicle inspection sheet.
Replenishes pick slots. If no requests exist, manually replenish to fill empty or almost empty slots.
Maintains correct counts.
Verifies that the correct product is being put in the appropriate pick location.
Removes all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles. Separates the good, and bad, pallets and neatly stages in the pallet staging area.
Operates the lift in a safe and efficient manner and parks and recharges the lift in its appropriate spot at the end of the shift.
Ability to operate the following lift trucks:
o LP-Gas sit down Rider
o Electric Stand-up Rider
o Low Lift Electric Hand Truck
Understand procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two -step instructions and to deal with ordinary, standardized situations.
Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding; subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers; and operations with units such as inch, foot, yard; ounce, and pound.
Able to read, write and communicate in English.
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and move around the warehouse.
- Overall, a Warehouse carousel picker plays a critical role in ensuring that products are accurately picked and shipped to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
- Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed
- Must be able to pass background check.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- HS Diploma or GED (required)
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous related experience
- Learn tasks quickly, is detailed, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance
- Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel

- Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements
- Ability to lift and/or move no less than 15-40 lbs. on a regular basis
