Founding Product Engineer

About the Role

Join an early-stage team building AI-powered regulatory and product compliance software for manufacturers and retailers. As a Founding Product Engineer, you will work closely with engineers and users to turn product priorities into useful, shipped features and help shape the product as it evolves.

What You'll Do

Turn the product roadmap into working software and deliver measurable value for users.

Speak directly with users to understand their needs and inform product direction.

Maintain, refactor, and scale the codebase as the product develops.

Use AI agents as a regular part of your software development workflow.

What We're Looking For

A track record of shipping software products to end users.

Technical work experience or a strong academic background in computer science or a related field.

A user-centered product mindset, with the ability to understand problems and identify needs that apply across customers.

Fluency in German and English.

Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Early-stage startup, B2B SaaS, LegalTech, RegTech, or AI/ML experience is helpful.

An entrepreneurial approach and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: €65,000 to €75,000 annually.

Location

Hybrid, based in Munich, Germany, with an expectation of four days per week in the office.
