SLR has a busy, well-established Land Quality team in its European Operations. Due to ongoing commercial success and a busy forward order book, it is looking to expand its Land Quality team in Leeds. The team undertakes a wide variety of geo-environmental assessments particularly across the built environment, industry, infrastructure and energy sectors and we are interested to hear from all candidates with similar experience.

This position presents an outstanding opportunity to join a team of leading geoscience professionals (including geotechnical engineers, geologists and contaminated land specialists) within a truly multinational consultancy and offers significant potential for career development and enhancement based on performance.

The Land Quality team undertakes a wide range of site assessment/investigation and associated reporting for a diverse range of clients and the successful applicant will be required to undertake and manage project tasks, fieldwork and data manipulation and assist in preparing subsequent reports to provide advice to clients.

About you:

We have positions available at the following grades – Project, Senior & Associate (SLR’s grading structure is: Graduate - Project – Senior – Associate – Principal – Technical Director).

Level of experience will depend on the grade, but all will require

Experience in geo-environmental site investigations and reporting

A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geoscience, Earth Sciences or a related discipline

Experience managing fieldwork and coordinating site investigation contractors

Knowledge of contaminated land and geo-environmental assessment practices

Strong data analysis, interpretation and technical reporting skills

An understanding of relevant health and safety requirements for site-based work

A driving licence that permits you to legally drive in the UK, as regular site visits will be required
