About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Team Leader – Resident Engineer / Site Supervisor to support the delivery and supervision of a major highway infrastructure project in Timor-Leste. The successful candidate will assist the Team Leader in managing construction supervision activities, ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferably post graduated in Geology or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
• •Have a minimum of 20 years of cumulative experience in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology and thereof a minimum of 10 years related to Highway roads or large roads construction supervision.
• •Have served in a similar capacity on at least 2 (two) Highway roads or large roads construction projects of similar nature.
• •Preferably a full-time employee of the PMC since at least 2 years.
• •Fluency in written and spoken form of English is mandatory.
• •Supervise the necessary soil investigations during construction stage and will be responsible for reviewing each soil treatment based on the soil and environmental conditions, soil selection, slope stabilizations, and any other soil related activities.
