Global Commodity Buyer Capital Expenditures (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• •Responsibility for category and supplier management within the areas of Capex (machinery and equipment, construction) and facility services
• •Development and implementation of cross-site category strategies
• •Active management and optimization of supplier portfolios, including supplier consolidation and reduction initiatives
• •Definition of sourcing strategies: initiating procurement processes, conducting tenders, selecting suppliers in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations
• •Leading framework agreement and contract negotiations, as well as contract management activities
• •Cross-functional collaboration within a global matrix organization
• •Continuous identification and implementation of improvement and efficiency opportunities in both operational and strategic procurement

Qualifications:

• •Successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study
• •5-10 years of professional experience in indirect (global) category management or project procurement within an industrial company; experience in purchasing capital goods and complex services is an advantage
• •Ideally experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, or other eProcurement systems and reporting tools
• •Hands-on mindset with a proactive, self-driven, and structured way of working; strong assertiveness, excellent negotiation skills, and outstanding communication abilities
• •Business-fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, as well as a general willingness to travel for business purposes
