THE JOB:

At Yellowtail inside Bellagio , the Gourmet Food Server plays a key role in delivering an elevated dining experience that showcases the artistry, hospitality, and precision of a premier Japanese dining destination. In this position, you will expertly guide guests through the menu, provide thoughtful food and beverage recommendations, and deliver attentive, personalized service that exceeds expectations. The Gourmet Food Server is responsible for taking and delivering orders with accuracy, anticipating guest needs, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, and accurately processing and finalizing checks. This role also maintains the presentation and cleanliness of assigned stations, completes all side work duties, and contributes to the seamless operation of one of Bellagio's distinguished restaurant experiences.

THE STARTING RATE: $ 14.8461 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• •Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
• •Guide guest through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
• •Knowledgeable of selling techniques, service delivery of both non and alcoholic beverages, and service delivery of menu items of every course
• •Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
• •Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area, side station, tables and Point of Sale (POS) station
• •Anticipate the guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
• •Communicate with management, chef and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guest and or employees
• •Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• •Must be 21+ years of age
• •Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• •5+ Years of prior relevant experience in a high-paced environment with food service experience required
• •Prior experience working in a Japanese restaurant preferred
• •Wine and spirit knowledge preferred
