Duties and Responsibilities

• •Instill Safety as a top priority
• •Provides on-site supervision and direction to crew members
• •Familiar with project specifications and ability to understand plans
• •Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel
• •Ensure crew time cards are filled out and submitted weekly
• •Fill out daily foreman reports
• •Analyze and resolve issues that may arise unexpectedly
• •Ability to explain and understands survey and grade staking (Lasers, Transits, and GPS)
• •Manage all excavating activities for your crew
• •Other duties may be assigned.

Experience, Education & Skills

• •Minimum of 5 years as a foreman/supervisor in the highway heavy civil construction
• •Willingness to travel
• •Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices
• •Must be familiar with heavy equipment
• •Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• •Must have a valid Driver’s License
• •Ability to work with tools and equipment such as, power and non-power tools
• •Frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50lbs
• •Positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills
• •Time management, multitasking, and prioritization are crucial
• •Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
