  • In this role, you will manage graduate research examinations from submission through to final completion. You will support candidates, academics and examiners while improving processes and reducing delays across the examinations cycle.

What you will deliver:

Support the end-to-end graduate research examinations process, monitoring progress and intervening early to minimise delays.

Interpret and apply policies, advising candidates, examiners and staff on examination requirements, outcomes and available options.

Maintain accurate student records, ensuring enrolment, examination and completion data are processed promptly and correctly.

Support implementation of viva examinations, system enhancements and process improvements within the Graduate Research team.

Contribute positively to team priorities, projects and service reviews to enhance experience for graduate researchers.

You may be a great fit if you:

Hold a degree-level qualification coupled with relevant administrative or higher education experience.

Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and confidence using complex administrative and student systems.

Manage competing priorities effectively, organising workload to meet deadlines in a busy, deadline-driven environment.

Adapt readily to changing policies, processes and systems, contributing constructively to implementation and continuous improvement.

Collaborate proactively within a close-knit team to share knowledge, balance workloads and maximise service efficiency

Communicate clearly and diplomatically with diverse stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality in sensitive or complex situations.

Bring knowledge of graduate research administration and TechnologyOne, or eagerness to quickly develop this expertise.

You will join the Graduate Research team within Student and Scholarly Services, a collaborative, service-focused group. The team partners with faculties, external examiners and central services to support every stage of graduate research candidature. You will help deliver consistent, high-quality experiences for graduate researchers while contributing to ongoing process and systems improvements
