Description

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Impact Genome (IG) is a fast-growing SaaS company on a mission to change how the world measures social change. We verify the real-world impact of government programs, NGOs, and nonprofits, helping them prove what works and why.

At the center of our work is the Impact Genome Registry, the first-ever database with outcomes and cost benchmarks for social programs. Federal, state, and local agencies, as well as Fortune 500 companies, use it to track results, uncover "what works," and invest where their dollars will have the greatest impact.

We are fortunate to work with world-leading organizations including the U.S. Government, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Bank of America, RBC, Moody's, Dell, and others.

Our mission: help the world shift from "giving money away" to investing in projects that create the maximum possible social good.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Every year, Fortune 500 companies invest significant resources in social impact. Yet many can report how much they spent without clearly understanding what those investments achieved or where future funding will create the greatest impact.

Picture the head of social impact at a Fortune 500 company walking into the boardroom and saying: here is what our dollars produced, what it cost per outcome, and where we're moving money next year because it works better. That's the conversation we make possible.

Impact Genome helps organizations make those decisions with evidence. We are looking for a Head of Enterprise Sales who can bring Impact Genome to more Fortune 500 companies and build lasting relationships with the teams responsible for their social impact investments.

You will own the enterprise sales process, from identifying target accounts and opening conversations through discovery, proposals, negotiation, and close. You will need to understand how each prospect makes funding decisions, demonstrate where Impact Genome fits, and navigate the complexity of Fortune 500 buying processes.

This is a hands-on role. We need someone who can build a pipeline, run deals personally, learn from buyer feedback, and help refine our go-to-market approach. As our dedicated enterprise sales leader, you will work closely with the CEO and impact science team to turn early traction into a repeatable enterprise sales motion.

This job is getting Impact Genome into the boardroom.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Own new enterprise revenue: build a pipeline of Fortune 500 prospects whose social impact priorities align with Impact Genome's work, and close deals against an annual revenue target.
  • Lead discovery to understand how each prospect assesses programs, measures outcomes, and makes investment decisions.
  • Translate Impact Genome's data, benchmarks, and verification approach into compelling business cases for prospective customers.
  • Run complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes from first conversation through contracting and close, while growing existing enterprise accounts.
  • Partner with leadership, product, and impact science teams to shape proposals and represent the platform accurately.
  • Build a repeatable enterprise sales motion by maintaining clear deal plans and forecasts, capturing customer feedback and objections, and refining messaging and go-to-market strategy as the company grows.

YOU BRING

If most of this sounds like you, we want to talk. You don't need every line.

  • A track record of closing six-figure enterprise SaaS deals with Fortune 500 buyers.
  • Experience running long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and navigating executive sponsors, procurement, legal review, and contracting.
  • The ability to learn a technical, data-heavy product deeply and explain it clearly to non-technical executives.
  • You build the pipeline yourself rather than waiting for it to arrive.
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills. You lead with the customer's problem, not the product demo.
  • A self-starter mindset: you take ownership, move without being pushed, and thrive when the path is not fully paved.
  • Comfort with forecasting, CRM discipline, and maintaining an accurate view of where deals really stand.
  • The judgment to sell a data-driven product with credibility and rigor, without overstating what the data can prove.
  • Alignment with IG's core values: Passionate for Social Impact, Rigorous, Relatable, Commercial Minded, and Willingness to Challenge Convention.

EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE

  • Sold products or services to corporate social impact, community investment, corporate philanthropy, ESG, or sustainability teams.
  • An existing network of CSR, corporate foundation, ESG, or social impact leaders at Fortune 500 companies.
  • Sold data, analytics, measurement, benchmarking, research, or ratings products.
  • Been an early sales hire, or helped establish a new enterprise market or sales motion, and built the playbook from the ground up.
  • Worked with impact measurement or social outcomes, or across corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve research, prospecting, and sales execution.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $150k base salary, plus commission / OTE. Willing to flex for talent.
  • Healthcare, including dental and vision
  • Discretionary PTO & vacation
  • 401(k) plan
