Technology Solutions Job Description:

  • Lead end-to-end technology delivery for Financial Crimes Investigations capabilities, spanning platform implementation, data integration, workflow automation, testing, release readiness, production rollout, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
  • Drive the integration and rollout of a new SaaS-based financial crimes case management and orchestration platform, ensuring the solution supports analyst workflow, case quality, regulatory reporting, auditability, and operational scalability.
  • Establish and manage connectivity, data pipelines, interfaces, and secure integration patterns between TD environments, vendor environments, and internal data and analytics platforms.
  • Ensure adherence to technology, security, privacy, resiliency, data governance, architecture, and regulatory control standards, including confirming that vendor commitments are understood, tracked, evidenced, and met.
  • Maintain clear alignment with FCRM leadership, technology partners, and vendor stakeholders on roadmap priorities, delivery sequencing, dependencies, and implementation schedules.
  • Provide senior-level delivery accountability across technology and data components, proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies, funding considerations, and delivery trade-offs.
  • Oversee vendor relationship management for technology delivery, including performance management, issue resolution, delivery quality, escalation management, and alignment to contractual and operational commitments.
  • Partner in the identification, governance, adoption, and operationalization of AI capabilities that can responsibly improve analyst research, transaction analysis, narrative generation, quality review, and investigative decision support.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team with the technical, delivery, data, risk, and stakeholder management capabilities required to support a mission-critical regulatory technology portfolio.
  • Prepare executive-ready communications, status updates, decision materials, and escalations that clearly articulate progress, risks, mitigations, impacts, and required leadership actions.
  • Champion a disciplined risk management culture by ensuring risks are surfaced early, control obligations are embedded into delivery, and solutions are designed for sustainable operation in a regulated banking environment.
  • Operate as a strategic technology leader who can translate financial crimes risk objectives into executable technology roadmaps and delivery outcomes.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across business, risk, technology, infrastructure, data, and vendor organizations without relying solely on direct authority.
  • Bring structure and clarity to complex, cross-functional delivery environments with multiple interdependencies, regulatory expectations, and competing priorities.
  • Promote engineering excellence, operational discipline, resiliency, and quality in the delivery of regulatory and mission-critical systems.
  • Develop talent, strengthen succession depth, and foster an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

Skills, Education & Experience

  • University Degree and Masters or Professional Designation preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a senior technology, engineering, product, or technology delivery function, ideally within a large financial institution or similarly complex regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology delivery across application, data, infrastructure, security, testing, vendor, and production implementation teams.
  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering, financial crimes compliance, fraud, sanctions, investigations, regulatory reporting, or a comparable risk domain; investigations-focused experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking data relevant to financial crimes investigations, including customer, account, transaction, alert, case, counterparty, and regulatory reporting data.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations, data pipelines, APIs, batch processing, online system integrations, data transformation, and historical data migration.
  • Experience delivering mission-critical platforms with regulatory, audit, resiliency, privacy, security, and data governance requirements.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, automation, and advanced analytics use cases that improve analytical, operational, or investigative workflows, with an appreciation for governance, explainability, and responsible adoption.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor solution delivery, including SaaS implementation, third-party dependency management, delivery assurance, and vendor performance oversight.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technology, data, delivery, and risk topics for senior leadership decision-making.
  • Creative problem solver and thought leader with the ability to challenge current-state processes, identify practical modernization opportunities, and mobilize teams around sustainable solutions.
