The Health Pricing Analyst supports the development, pricing, and delivery of health insurance products. The role works closely with Product, IT, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Analytics, and Health teams to evaluate product profitability, develop pricing recommendation, analyze claim experience and data, and support product implementation. The incumbent collaborates closely with Distribution, Product, Operations, Actuarial, Customer Experience, Analytics, Finance, and Risk teams to identify opportunities, enhance customer engagement, reduce lapses and surrenders, and deliver sustainable business growth. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, technical model capabilities, and actuarial skills
Position Responsibilities
- Support pricing analysis for health insurance products, product enhancements, and repricing.
- Prepare pricing models and financial projections.
- Perform sensitivity testing and scenario analysis on key pricing assumptions.
- Assist in developing product specifications, benefit designs, and pricing structures.
- Prepare documentation of pricing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
- Support regulatory, regional and internal approval submissions.
- Support product implementation, including preparing and maintaining pricing illustration and product UAT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Fresh graduate to 2 years experience.
- Internship experience in insurance company, especially in actuarial function is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and data mining skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of insurance concepts and actuarial techniques is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
