Pay rate:

$10 per hour plus tips

Responsibilities:

• •Open the door for guests.
• •Keep lines from forming at the door.
• •Answer incoming reservation calls.
• •Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, lobby, and dining room.
• •Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system.
• •Keep abreast of all food & beverage venues and menus.
• •Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework
• •Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• •Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests.
• •Notify Manager of all guest complaints
• •Using the table management system, manage incoming reservations and venue floor.
• •Conduct restroom checks
• •Knows our menu as well as servers.
• •Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the manager.
• •Performs any and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• •Prior related experience preferred.
• •Reliable transportation to and from work.
• •Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests as well as all levels of employees in both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
• •Ability to manipulate the MICROS POS system and accurately input orders and post transactions.
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• •Ability to provide direction in a fast-paced environment; manage time effectively and work well in a team environment.
• •Must possess excellent customer relations, sales, & communication skills.
• •Must possess at all times during employment a valid Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit.
• •A desire to learn, grow, and a passion for progress in this career.

Physical demands and work environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to perform essential job functions. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
