House Person

Job Description:

As a House Person, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable environment for guests and staff. This role involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, supporting the overall operations of the establishment.

Job Responsibilities

• * Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces, to established standards of cleanliness.
• * Assist in setting up and tearing down meeting rooms, event spaces, or guest areas as required, including moving furniture and equipment.
• * Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other designated areas.
• * Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to appropriate disposal areas.
• * Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, tightening loose fixtures, or reporting larger maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• * Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for assistance or additional amenities.
• * Transport linens, supplies, and equipment as needed throughout the property.
• * Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• * Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Job Qualifications

• * Previous experience in a housekeeping or similar role is a plus.
• * Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• * Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
