Housekeeping- Seasonal Only

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is a seasonal position from Jan-March Winter Camp and or from June -September Summer Camp. Services, clean and set rooms, meeting spaces , restrooms, buildings, and staff offices with the highest internal and external service in mind.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Services and cleans all assigned guest rooms, meeting rooms, restrooms, buildings, offices, and other areas in accordance with our cleaning standards.

Follows all safety standards relating to work responsibilities.

Works under Team Leader and supervisors to accomplish daily task lists and duties

Sets up and move s furniture as requested .

Assists with seasonal changeover.

Report’s facility needs to Team Leade r and or Supervisor .

Relates graciously to guests and staff.

Support and participate in staff spiritual life activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

H igh school diploma or equivalent and 1- 2+ year experience in housekeeping preferred.

Has reliable means to be able to get to Forest Home in all types of weather conditions .

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate required machinery . Requires moderate to heavy physical work; some lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects ove r 20 pounds. Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers and speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communic ate in person.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud at times.
