What you will have an opportunity to do:

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the housekeeping staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• •Provide leadership and direction for all housekeeping and laundry activities for the hotel to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas.
• •Inspect guest rooms, public areas and heart of the house for cleanliness.
• •Train, motivate, coach, counsel and discipline staff members.
• •Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program.
• •Maintain the supplies and linen inventories.
• •Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient and friendly manner.
• •Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
• •Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management.

What are we looking for?

QUALIFICATIONS:

• •Previous Hotel Housekeeping experience MANDATORY
• •Engaging and caring personality
• •Time management skills
• •Ability to work on feet for an extended period
• •Ability to communicate effectively - English and Spanish
• •Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
• •Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters.
