  • Escalate significant, business-impacting, or crisis-level incidents to the Incident Response Lead and support broader response coordination activities.
  • Coordinate response actions across cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, and business teams to facilitate effective incident resolution.
  • Conduct forensic and log analysis to determine incident scope, root cause, and business impact.
  • Escalate significant incidents to IR leadership and assist in coordinating response activities.
  • Prepare incident reports and technical summaries for management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of incident response playbooks, procedures, and documentation.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews and support implementation of lessons learned.
  • Manage the operational activities and performance of assigned junior incident response personnel, providing mentoring, guidance, and oversight during security investigations.
  • Support compliance with internal policies, regulatory obligations, and industry standards.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and provide out-of-hours support when required.
  • Skills and Experience:

  • Experience performing network and endpoint investigations.
  • Strong understanding of security controls and mitigation techniques.
  • Familiarity with query languages such as Splunk SPL or CrowdStrike Query Language.
