Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As an Indianapolis - Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team's success. As an Intern, you will embrace a learning mindset, actively listen, ask questions to check understanding, and clearly express ideas. Within our Assurance practice, you will gain confidence in your financial reporting and decision-making with PwC's trusted services. Our experienced auditors provide independent assessments, upholding transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements, allowing you to focus on driving your business forward. In this role, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. Responsibilities

  • - Supporting audit teams by participating in digital assurance projects and tasks
  • - Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into auditing methodologies and practices
  • - Assisting in the evaluation of internal controls and IT governance to enhance compliance and governance processes
  • - Engaging in risk identification and process assurance activities to support transparency and integrity in financial reporting
  • - Utilizing artificial intelligence platforms to contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning systems
  • - Collaborating with team members to apply auditing methodologies and IT controls effectively
  • - Gathering and analyzing data to identify patterns and support decision-making processes
  • - Participating in the review of compliance and governance frameworks to align with regulatory requirements
  • - Applying intellectual curiosity to explore innovative solutions and improve audit processes
  • - Actively listening and accepting feedback to enhance personal and professional development

What You Must Have

  • - Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
  • - At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • - Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • - Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
