Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse RN Per Diem

Description:

In the Inpatient Rehab Unit at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital , the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy.

What You Will Do:

• •Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• •Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions as prescribed as well as monitoring for complications, infections, or changes in condition, responding appropriately to emergencies.
• •Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• •Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• •Valid RN license in Connecticut

Preferred:

• •Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• •The ideal candidate will have two or more years of rehabilitation, orthopedic, or med-surg nursing in a acute inpatient setting.
• •BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Position Highlights:

• •Hourly position, included in RN Step Program pay range: $36.15 to $59.95
