The Inside Account Manager – CR will be responsible for building long-term, high-performing relationships with partners, leveraging interpersonal skills, prospecting abilities, and data analysis to provide recommendations that drive business growth for Sony’s products and services. You will be responsible for conducting daily outbound sales calls to sell Sony’s products and services to a book of accounts of potential customers (businesses and/or end users) to achieve sales quotas. You will also leveraging strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues, align the right stakeholders and drive to resolution, as well as managing a clean pipeline where all relevant information is up to date in Salesforce and other pipeline management tools.

What You'll Do:

Position owns the daily contact with specific, identified accounts. Incumbents work proactively to drive revenues/margins to ensure organizational profitability through developing and executing strategic client specific solutions.

Incumbent is seasoned and has the experience to handle complex customer issues with minimal supervision.

Leverages TD executives for support.

Proactively manages accounts by evaluating product mix and profitability

Develops strategic business plans, and effectively present to TD management.

Provides regional level direction in the absence of the manager

Viewed by supporting departments management teams as a change agent and subject matter expert

Manages advanced inbound and outbound sales calls in order to quote prices, provide product information and build relationships with customers

Assists associates and reps in resolving complex, important customer problems or issues

Helping resellers or customers be informed of all relevant marketing and sales initiatives, informing business partners of vendor-related promotions and floor days; forming relationships; providing proactive business solutions and presenting growth plans to these resellers or customers

Requires high level of interpersonal and collaborative skills

Identifies, develops, and implements business opportunities through customer facing activities

Demonstrates detailed account knowledge

Creates business plans to uncover new opportunities, and increase the vendor sales and profits

Represents the vendor professionally in daily interface with business partners, customers, and supporting departments

Represents the vendor at business partner events

Performs additional duties as assigned

Meets attendance and punctuality standards

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of account management and/or business development experience with a proven track record of success building relationships and growing established partners. B2B preferred.

Experience with influencing business outcomes and closing opportunities.

Proven track record of leading several projects simultaneously and balancing competing priorities.

Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take.

Able to be diplomatic when handling calls/correspondence for Management.

Able to coach others in the development of their skills. Able to comprehend, integrate, and improve upon complex cross-functional business processes

Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

Able to display assertiveness and a high level of self-confidence.

Able to facilitate group interactions.

Able to identify needs and opportunities and develop action plans to address.

Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.

Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results with a proven track record of achievement on sales goals.

Able to prepare/analyze appropriate reports and other business correspondence.

Able to serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

Able to sort through numerical information and recognize trends and details.

Able to think strategically and tactically.

Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc) at an advanced level.

Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.

Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion with a proven track record of leading several projects simultaneously and balancing competing priorities.

Able to avoid win/loss situations and ensure productive resolutions of conflict.

Able to analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.

Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
