Inspector - First Shift

Inspection Job Duties Include:

• •Performs first piece, in process, and final dimensional inspections on manufactured parts and components
• •Performs receiving inspection activities associated with purchased parts, components, material, and services
• •Performs Commercial Dedication inspections
• •Records inspection results
• •Documents non-conformance to drawing or specification requirements

Requirements

Qualifications to be a Conval Inspector:

• •Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
• •Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• •Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• •Knowledge database software or manufacturing software preferred
• •Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• •Prior experience using gauges such as micrometers, calipers, and height stands
• •Previous inspection experience is required
• •Experience operating a CMM preferred
• •Experience with NDT Penetrant Testing is a plus
