About the Role

Ace International is seeking an International Accounts Specialist I to manage and support relationships with assigned international retail customers. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, helping drive sales growth, coordinating customer orders, and ensuring a smooth experience from order placement through delivery.

This is a highly collaborative position that combines account management, customer service, sales support, and operational coordination. You'll work closely with customers, vendors, logistics teams, merchandising, sales, finance, and other internal partners to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

What You'll Do:

Manage Customer Accounts

Support a portfolio of key international retail accounts and play an important role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned international retail customers.
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide ongoing support.
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales, increase replenishment orders, and expand product assortments.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to support business growth initiatives.

Coordinate Order Management & Fulfillment

  • Manage customer orders from order receipt through shipment and invoicing.
  • Review purchase orders, pricing, quantities, and fulfillment requirements for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with vendors, warehouses, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or issues.

Resolve Issues & Support Customers

  • Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shipment concerns, billing questions, and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify solutions and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate complex issues when needed and ensure timely follow-through.

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate account information, order records, and status reporting.
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and service levels.
  • Participate in projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, customer service, sales support, order management, merchandising, or a related field.
  • Experience managing purchase orders, customer accounts, or order fulfillment processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems (ERP, EDI, customer portals, etc.).
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
