We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke.

This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU, and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. We are welcoming new caregivers to collaborate within our multidisciplinary teams and contribute to nationally recognized, innovative neurological care. Interventional Radiology Technologists are sub- specialized , critical thinking caregivers that support the most cutting-edge therapies offered at Cleveland Clinic. In this role, you will assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided neuro vascular procedures, including but not limited to diagnostic arteriography, angioplasty, stenting , embolization and thrombolysis. You will use fluoroscopic equipment to capture images of the cerebral vasculature . By doing so, you will be part of a team that not only diagnoses but treats a patient's neurovascular abnormality , significantly improving their quality of life . Taking on this opportunity will not only allow you to substantially advance your imaging skills but will a lso allow you to master new ones such as sterile technique and assisting with interventional procedures.

A caregiver in this position will work full time days (M-F) , 9:00am — 5:30pm with rotating on-call responsibilities evenings, weekends and holidays.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Utilize sterile or aseptic technique to scrub in and perform vascular, interventional, and surgical procedures per protocol.

Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.

Ensure patients safety and comfort during and after exams.

Demonstrate understanding of primary purpose of drugs used in IR, indications, contraindications, contrast drug interactions and major effects.

Record and maintain procedural data to include injection data, elapsed fluoroscopic time and procedural information.

Monitor equipment, systems, clean equipment, and effects timely repair.

Learn new technical information and skills through attendance of periodic in-service programs and participation in professional affiliation sessions.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology

Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing

Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Knowledge of radiologic physics and computerized vascular equipment, so as to safely inject and image human vascular anatomy.

Thorough knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology sufficient to apply to interventional and diagnostic exams.

Must be knowledgeable of sterile technique with ability to create and maintain sterile environment.

Ability to function well with minimal to no supervision, especially during after hours call-in emergency service.

Physical Requirements:

Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
