Your Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for Level 1 tickets and ad-hoc helpdesk requests covering hardware, software, and workplace services across Statista's global workforce.

Take ownership of incoming requests from qualification through resolution or escalation, ensuring timely updates, complete English documentation, and SLA compliance.

Identify recurring issues and report patterns to the Workplace Manager to drive continuous improvement of IT services.

Build and maintain self-service resources such as knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and FAQs, and identify automation opportunities for recurring tasks.

Collaborate closely with Tech Ops and DWO team members on escalations, knowledge transfer, and documentation to ensure seamless handoffs.

Support end-to-end IT onboarding for new colleagues and contribute to cross-team projects that improve IT services and workplace infrastructure.

Your Profile

Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or equivalent practical experience

Initial professional experience in IT service or helpdesk environments

Experience with identity and access management solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta - Statista uses Okta) and endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune

Experience working with ITSM ticketing systems (Statista uses ServiceNow) and IT asset management tools (Statista uses Snipe-IT)

Nice to have: experience with Jamf, macOS, iOS management

Fluent English skills. German is a plus.

Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering great user experiences

Proactive communication style and service-oriented attitude
