Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an IT Product Manager – Quality Applications & Portfolio (f/m) to join our team based in Marignane, France.

We are seeking a senior IT Product Manager who executes at cross-functional communication and technical orchestration.

In this role, you will lead our core Non-Conformity Management (NCM) application—a backbone for the company—while overseeing monthly governance across a portfolio of ~10 applications in the Quality & Flight Safety perimeter.

The ideal candidate is an adaptable communicator who can engage directly with shop-floor end users, align product roadmaps with the Business and Management, and hold discussions with dedicated technical specialists (Integration, Identity/IAM, Security, Infrastructure) without needing to perform the engineering work directly.

Your working environment:

Major economic hub with Marseille-Provence Airport, Marignane is a dynamic city in the southeast of France. It is located near the cities of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, which host a rich cultural and tourist offer. Close to the beaches of the Côte Bleue, it offers many options for water sports activities.

How we care for you:

  • Financial rewards: Attractive salary, agreements on success and profit sharing schemes, employee savings plan abounded by Airbus and employee stock purchase plan on a voluntary basis.
  • Work / Life Balance: Extra days-off for special occasions, holiday transfer option, a Staff council offering many social, cultural and sport activities and other services.
  • Wellbeing / Health: Complementary health insurance coverage (disability, invalidity, death). Depending on the site: health services center, concierge services, gym, carpooling application.
  • Individual development: Great upskilling opportunities and development prospects with unlimited access to +10.000 e-learning courses to develop your employability, certifications, expert career path, accelerated development programmes, national and international mobility.

At Airbus, we support you to work, connect and collaborate more easily and flexibly. Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.

Your challenges:

1. Product Leadership – Non-Conformity Management (NCM)

  • E2E Lifecycle Ownership: Accountable for the entire lifecycle of the NCM product—including discovery, strategic roadmap, backlog prioritization, feature delivery, operational maintenance, user adoption, and continuous improvement/decommissioning.
  • Technical Interface & Orchestration : Collaborate with internal IT specialist teams (Integration, Cybersecurity, IAM, Enterprise Architecture) to express product needs regarding data exchange, APIs, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • 360° Stakeholder Communication: Connect operational reality to strategy by listening to end users on the plant floor, reporting key business impacts to Top Management, and translating requirements clearly for technical specialists.
  • Adoption & Continuous Improvement: Measure user adoption across manufacturing/quality sites, refine UX based on user feedback, and continuously optimize non-conformity tracking and resolution workflows.

2. Portfolio Management & Governance

  • Monthly Portfolio Tracking : Lead monthly governance reviews across ~10 Quality applications/projects, monitoring overall health, risks, KPIs, and vendor performance.
  • Cross-Team Alignment : Facilitate coordination between product teams and Quality business leaders to keep portfolio projects on schedule.

Your profile:

  • Experience : +10 years as an IT Product Manager or IT Project Manager managing enterprise applications.
  • Technical background : Broad IT understanding allowing you to speak fluently with specialist teams about basic integration patterns (APIs/webhooks) and authentication needs (SSO/access rights). Hands-on coding or architectural design is not required.
  • Communication : Strong ability to adapt communication style tone, detail, and structure when presenting to end-users, technical engineers or top management.
  • Domain Awareness: Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), manufacturing IT, or industrial environments is a plus.

Not a 100% match? No worries! Airbus supports your personal growth with customized development solutions.
