NetGain Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Professional Services team.

This is not a help desk role and it's not a reactive support position. You'ldelivng infrastructure projects for small businesses, mid-market organizations, and enterprise clients.

If you enjoy implementing technology, following a project plan, solving complex technical challenges, and leaving clients with a better environment than you found, we'd love to talk.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy designing and implementing solutions more than working tickets or handling day-to-day support issues.

What You'll Do

• •Deliver infrastructure projects from kickoff through completion.
• •Implement Windows Server, virtualization, networking, and cloud solutions.
• •Partner with Project Managers to execute projects on time and within scope.
• •Work directly with clients both remotely and on-site.
• •Document completed work and ensure smooth project closeout.
• •Identify risks, scope changes, and technical challenges early.

What Makes You Successful

• •5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• •Strong knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization, networking, and firewalls.
• •Experience delivering projects in an MSP, consulting, or project-focused environment.
• •Ability to communicate technical concepts to clients clearly and professionally.
• •Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation.
• •Ability to travel to client locations as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

· Minimum of 8 years’ hands-on experience in IT with high proficiency in:

o Windows Server, Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), Azure Cloud stack, M365, Networking (Firewalls and Switching) and DR/BC

· Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent certs/experience

· Willingness to travel to client locations

· Ability to lift 25lbs
