As an IT Solutions and Data Designer within Corporate IT Solution Delivery, Strategy and Performance, you will play a key role in the design, development, implementation, and evolution of robust, secure, and maintainable technology and data solutions.

You will collaborate with business partners, architects, and delivery teams to transform business needs into practical solutions. You will serve as a technical reference for the team while remaining actively involved in development, testing, and solution maintenance.

What You Will Accomplish with Us

As an IT Solutions and Data Designer, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze business needs, translate them into practical technology solutions, and produce detailed designs aligned with architectural guidelines;
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain application and data components, including models, data flows, processing rules, and data integration, transformation, and loading pipelines;
  • Implement and enhance data warehouses, data marts, interfaces, and analytical solutions while ensuring data quality, traceability, and operational reliability;
  • Act as a technical reference, guide the delivery team, contribute to the adoption of best practices, and ensure the technical quality of deliverables, including coordinating testing activities and code reviews;
  • Contribute to estimations, planning, documentation, obsolescence management, change management, and production deployments while integrating security, compliance, and access management requirements, as well as participating in incident resolution and audit activities;

  • Demonstrates strong expertise in the design and development of IT and data solutions;
  • Is recognized for their ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, architects, and multidisciplinary teams;
  • Has significant experience in designing and developing IT solutions;
  • Has strong proficiency in SQL and a solid knowledge of Python or an equivalent programming language;
  • Possesses a solid understanding of data modeling, databases, and ETL/ELT concepts;
  • Is familiar with software development, testing, security, and deployment practices;
  • Has experience with Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies, which is considered an asset;
  • Has knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry, which is considered an asset;
  • Has an advanced level of French and an intermediate level of English, as the position requires daily communication with unilingual English-speaking suppliers and partners across Canada through emails and phone calls;
