Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties
- You will be responsible for large and difficult assignments that include planning, organizing and conducting comprehensive test and evaluation projects of information technology system, subsystems, and components.
- You will serve as a technical expert with other personnel and users in developing data systems, hardware, and software requirements, as well as, supporting evaluations and modifying the facilities to support test requirements.
- You will assist in developing and implementing NAVAIR command IT security policies, IT programs, and related procedures to fully meet NAVAIR, Navy and DOD INFOSEC requirements.
- You will assist in policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, network and data.
- You will participate in network and systems design to ensure implementation of appropriate systems security policies.
- You will ensure implementation of security procedures, tools, the installation and integration of system fixes, updates and enhancements.
- You will assists in planning, directing, reviewing and/or managing IT risk assessments (RA), Security Test and Evaluations (STE), and Contingency Plans (CP).
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DS-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
