IT Sr. Business Systems Analyst

As our Sr. IT Business Systems Analyst, you will connect business needs with technology solutions across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Service, and Technology. You will take an enterprise-wide view of processes and systems, partnering across teams to simplify how work gets done and deliver reliable, scalable application solutions.

This is a systems-agnostic role supporting enterprise platforms, integrated third-party applications, reporting tools, interfaces, and workflow solutions. Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) is the primary platform focus, particularly across order management, planning, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, logistics, quality, maintenance, and related operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• •Partner with global business stakeholders to understand objectives, pain points, process variations, controls, and opportunities for standardization or improvement.
• •Translate business needs into clear process maps, functional requirements, user stories, solution options, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
• •Provide functional ownership and day-to-day support for Oracle EBS and other applications used across operations and supply chain.
• •Work with solution architects, developers, integration teams, data teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business users to design and implement end-to-end solutions.
• •Assess cross-functional and upstream/downstream impacts across order-to-cash, plan-to-produce, procure-to-pay, inventory, logistics, service, and financial processes.
• •Configure approved application functionality where appropriate and coordinate technical development, interfaces, extensions, reports, conversions, and workflows.
• •Plan and lead functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing; document outcomes and support defect resolution.
• •Create and maintain process documentation, functional designs, test scripts, training materials, support guides, and knowledge articles.
• •Lead troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and resolution for production incidents and recurring application issues.
• •Manage functional changes and enhancements from intake and prioritization through deployment, stabilization, and transition to support.
• •Support global deployments, acquisitions, site launches, process harmonization, and application lifecycle initiatives.
• •Monitor solution effectiveness after implementation and use business feedback, support trends, and operational data to identify continuous-improvement opportunities.
• •Provide project leadership for small to medium initiatives and functional leadership within larger, cross-functional programs.
• •Mentor colleagues and business users and promote consistent methods, documentation, reusable standards, and knowledge sharing across regions.
• •Participate in scheduled after-hours or weekend support when required for critical incidents, releases, deployments, or global business coverage.

Primary Oracle EBS Focus

• •Apply strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS R12.2.10 to support and improve global operations and supply chain processes.
• •Support business capabilities that may include Order Management, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, Bills of Material, Work in Process, Manufacturing, Quality, Shipping, Warehouse

Management, Enterprise Asset Management, and related master-data processes.

• •Understand key Trading Community Architecture concepts, including customers, suppliers, sites, and related data dependencies.
• •Collaborate with Finance and Tax teams on cross-functional requirements that affect operational transactions, accounting, controls, and eBusiness Tax.
• •Contribute functional insight to Oracle EBS architecture, integrations, extensions, reporting, security, and sustainment decisions.
• •Support Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, rollouts, enhancements, and post-go-live stabilization.

Systems-Agnostic Responsibilities

• •Evaluate solutions based on business fit, process integrity, usability, supportability, integration, data quality, security, scalability, and total lifecycle impact rather than preference for a single product.
• •Support applications and technologies that complement or integrate with Oracle EBS, including planning, warehouse, transportation, manufacturing, service, quality, reporting, integration, automation, and collaboration solutions.
• •Learn new platforms and capabilities as the enterprise application landscape evolves.
• •Help define when a requirement should be addressed through process change, existing functionality, configuration, extension, integration, reporting, automation, or a different application.

Required Skills and Experience

• •5+ years of progressively responsible experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise applications and business processes.
• •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant business and technology experience.
• •Hands-on experience supporting or implementing Oracle E-Business Suite R12, with meaningful exposure to operations or supply chain modules.
• •Strong understanding of global operations and supply chain processes, data, controls, and cross-functional dependencies.
• •Experience with requirements elicitation, process mapping, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, training, and production support.
• •Ability to analyze complex issues, distinguish symptoms from root causes, evaluate alternatives, and recommend practical solutions.
• •Experience working with integrations, data conversions, reporting, extensions, workflows, and third-party applications in an enterprise environment.
• •Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects across business functions, regions, and time zones with appropriate independence and escalation.
• •Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical audiences.
• •Collaborative approach and demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with global stakeholders, colleagues, partners, and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience with multiple Oracle EBS supply chain or manufacturing modules and integration with other modules and third party systems.
• •Experience supporting global templates, multi-organization environments, multiple legal entities, currencies, languages, or regional process variations.
• •Experience with enterprise integration, analytics, workflow, automation, cloud, or adjacent operational platforms.
• •Experience leading workstreams, coordinating vendors, mentoring analysts, or transitioning project solutions into production support.
• •Knowledge of IT service management, change control, release management, security, audit, and data-governance practices.
