If you’re the kind of person who thinks that a clean kitchen, a safe environment, and the smell of fresh polpette or a surprise crostata now and then can make someone’s day just a little better — well, you might just be the perfect fit for us.

Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept:

You’re not just keeping the kitchen clean — you’re keeping the community warm .

At The Social Hub, we believe a kitchen is much more than a place to cook. It’s a space where connections are made, independence grows, and late-night pasta debates turn into lifelong friendships. As Kitchen Mamma, you’re the go-to person for our student community: a mentor, a kitchen coach, and sometimes the hero who knows exactly where the corkscrew is hiding. You’re the one making sure the community kitchen runs like a dream – clean, welcoming, and always stocked – but more importantly, you're creating a space where our students feel happy, safe, and at home.

Whether it’s their first time living away from home or they’re seasoned international travelers, your friendly support helps them learn the ropes of kitchen life. From food safety to recipe basics, and yes, even the sacred art of doing the dishes, you’re teaching them life skills that go way beyond the plate.

In Case You Don’t Know Who We Are:

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Spain with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.

What You’ll Do:

Be a welcoming presence in the kitchen

Maintain the kitchen as a clean, safe, and fun space for everyone

Teach basic cooking and food safety skills in an approachable, hands-on way

Support students in becoming confident, independent, and respectful users of the space

Encourage a sense of ownership and responsibility among the student community

Occasionally assist with simple food prep or host small cooking activities

Ensure kitchen equipment and food stocks are in good shape and well maintained

Handle cleaning tasks with care and a big smile – floors, cookware, and surfaces included

Spot and report broken items or maintenance needs

Who are you?

A people person! Friendly, approachable and always ready to lend a hand

Background in kitchens, cooking classes, or community work

Naturally tidy and organized, but also great with people

Motivated, flexible, and unfazed by a busy kitchen during peak hours

Fluent in English and Italian – any extra language is a big plus!

Legally allowed to work, and based already in Italy

You genuinely care about others, especially young people starting a new chapter in their live

What We Offer:

The opportunity to work at a dynamic, young, multi-national company. Not just another hotel, we’re a game changing innovator, challenging every convention and defining the future.

A chance to grow, learn, and make a real impact in a young person’s life

The chance to learn and grow in your role, with the potential for growth within or across the company

Access to the amazing TSH facilities, including our awesome staff experiences, canteen and gym

A wonderful workplace to call home, events, fun colleagues, and benefits stuff

Who you are, is how we want you to be. To us, hybrid hospitality goes across the board, from how we service our guests to how we represent ourselves. Here, everyone belongs, and we welcome people no matter their nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or culture . Your authenticity keeps our team diverse . Come as you are.

At The Social Hub, we believe pay should be fair and consistent. That's why we carefully determine your starting salary based on the role, your assessed proficiency, and our salary framework. We make our best and fairest offer upfront, so we don't negotiate salaries. Because fairness shouldn’t depend on who negotiates best.
