ALPHA Landscapes is a 100% new-construction focused landscape firm working with the top general contractors and developers in the area. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where our employees look forward to coming to work everyday, and being part of a TEAM that sets them up for success, all while working on the top construction projects in central Iowa.

ALPHA Landscapes started with a pickup truck and a wheelbarrow in 2018 and has now grown into the largest commercial landscape construction firm in Iowa with top of the line trucks and equipment, and 50+ employees operating out of our Johnston office.

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, yet stable company, with typical hours between 40-60 weekly, March-December pay starting at $18-23/Hr, depending on experience

What does a typical day look like at ALPHA?

Arriving to the shop on-time to assist crew leaders with loading trucks & trailer with materials & equipment for the day

Utilizing hand tools, skid loaders, augers, and tillers to install trees, shrubs, edging, mulch rock, and other miscellaneous landscaping on commercial jobsites

Maintaining a clean jobsite and vehicle

Working effectively with other team members and supervisors

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
