Large Format Press Operator

SUMMARY

The primary role is to print high-quality graphics on state-of-the-art presses. The large format team is an integral part of Hatteras' overall business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Have experience running Vutek and/or Durst Large Format printing presses
• •Follow and perform daily shift and weekly maintenance to press’s, log all maintenance in the maintenance logs
• •Follow posted schedule and meet or beat budgeted assigned hours
• •Full understating of rigid and roll substates
• •Read, follow and execute job as per the work instructions
• •Follow all procedure and perform the appropriate quality control checks
• •Ability to RIP jobs for printing
• •Knowledge of finishing equipment and skills are a bonus but not a necessity
• •Communicate effectively with and understand what needs to be completed each night

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• •High School Diploma or GED
• •2+ years of experience
• •Must be a highly motivated self-starter
