Lead Engineer

What success looks like in this role:

Responsibilities:

• •Develop and maintain Java/Python-based applications and Microservices
• •Build and support cloud-native solutions on AWS
• •Develop REST APIs and event-driven integrations
• •Design and implement Elasticsearch/OpenSearch solutions, including document indexing, upserts, and complex Bool Query-based search
• •Build and optimize PySpark/Glue ETL jobs
• •Deploy and manage containerized applications on EKS
• •Participate in code reviews, production support, and technical discussions
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Required Skills

• •Strong programming experience in Java and Python
• •Hands-on experience with Spring Boot , REST APIs, and Microservices
• •Experience with PySpark and AWS Glue for data processing
• •Strong knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and SSM
• •Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch , including Bool Queries, document indexing/upserts, and Kibana
• •Experience with PostgreSQL
• •Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
• •Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices
• •Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 10-13 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
