Lead - Production (Battery Assembly)

Key Responsibilities

• * You are responsible for setting up and leading BA - Production team related
• activities at River
• * You are responsible for developing safe shopfloor meeting ISO14001 & 45001
• standards
• * Creating and maintaining all relevant documents meeting ISO9001 requirements
• * Responsible for upholding processes, work instructions and necessary
• quality inspection steps to ensure timely readiness of products
• * You are responsible for hiring, training & supervising engineers and
• technicians for production team
• * You are responsible for developing a high performing team with a continuous
• improvement mindset
• * You will be planning production shifts to ensure daily / monthly targets
• are met
• * You will be Coordinating with other departments to ensure that equipment
• and materials are available for use by other departments as needed
• * You will also be encouraged to suggest necessary changes in processes to
• make products easy to assemble. You will also be sharing your feedback wrt
• machines/ parts / processes to ensure ergonomics and efficiency
• * You will be responsible for line balancing to optimize production line
• efficiency
• * You will be responsible to optimize cost through COPQ reduction and
• consumable usage optimization
• * You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining annual OpeX budget
• * You are responsible for maintaining a clean work space promoting 5S

Ideal Candidate

• * Has an excellent attitude to ensure production of a quality product
• * 8+ years of experience in managing assembly lines to ensure production
• activities has been handled in a timely manner
• * B.E/B. Tech - Mech/ Electrical / production Engineering
• * Proven work experience as Production lead with relevant experience
• * Excellent communication skills and people skills
