Our Talent Development team within the Human Resources organization partners with business leaders to build skills, knowledge and capabilities to improve individual and organizational performance.

As the Leadership Development Consultant, you will help shape and deliver leadership development strategies that align with business priorities, strengthen our culture and prepare leaders for continued success. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by Human Resources leadership.

This role is hybrid (Monday through Thu on-site / Fri remote) located in downtown Kansas City, MO.

How you will spend your time:

  • Design and advance leadership development strategies that support the growth of our leaders and culture.
  • Manage leadership programs and facilitate engaging leadership workshops and group learning experiences in person and virtually.
  • Lead vendor relationships to include contract negotiations, tactical direction, and guidance on design of leadership programs and resources.
  • Conduct and debrief leadership assessments, including translating assessment insights into meaningful development actions.
  • Stay current with external trends.

We are excited to talk if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 8 years of Talent Development or HR roles with consultant and training aspects.
  • Advanced knowledge of leadership and development principles.
  • Experience creating virtual learning experiences and ability to effectively facilitate group learning.
  • Strong business acumen and deep persistent desire to understand organizational culture.
  • Ability to provide verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively.

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Banking industry experience.
  • Hogan Assessment and/or DiSC Assessment certification.

  • Compensation Range:

$98,208 - $144,705
