Library Technician NF-02

Summary

This position is located at the Fort Wainwright Library. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Duties

• •Registers patrons, charges/discharges materials, processes overdues and reserves, assists with interlibrary loans and reserves, and shelves library materials.
• •Prepares displays, programs activities, answers basic reference questions, and assists customers in locating materials; and/or provides technical services support in a variety of functions.
• •Assists in maintaining accountability records and in performing shelf inventories.
• •Performs simple maintenance on the library's automated systems.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade. Or Two years of education above high school. Or A combination of specialized experience and education that equates to 100% of the qualification requirements. *If qualifying based on education, transcripts must be uploaded at the time of application for verification purposes.
