For its offices in Saint Paul les Durance, Amentum is currently seeking for motivated Lifting and Handling Engineers willing to make the difference and support the delivery of the ITER Fusion Project, that “is a promising long-term option for sustainable, non-carbon-emitting energy. Harnessing fusion's power is the goal of ITER—designed as the key experimental step between today's fusion research machines and tomorrow's fusion power plants.”

Your responsibilities:

Takes direction from and interacts directly with the CMA Lifting & Handling Manager.

Responsible for reviewing technical content of contractors lift planning documentation.

Carry out lifting surveys for contractors with assessments on rigging best practices.

Assess crane set up areas with calculations

Liaising with lifting & handling contractors and peer review of contractors competence.

Aid client with respect to Lifting and Handling during constructability review sessions.

Ensure compliance with and reviewing/updating Lifting and Handling site procedures.

Form strong relationships with the HSE, Materials and Logistics functions.

Manage and coordinate the Lifting Framework contract for mobile cranes and contract lifts.

Liaises with CMA Construction Team including Workface planner to Coordinates with the other site activities.

Provide the client with technical knowledge at the design phase to help better implement lifting and handling techniques.

Your profile :

Engineering Degree/HND or similar in Mechanical discipline

xperience of working as Lifting supervisor in major construction projects.

Qualified as Lifting Supervisor following a recognised standard.

Cognisance of different cultural requirements and behaviours.

Proficient in Microsoft office software

Knowledge of all types of cranes and lifting equipment
