Job Summary
Regents' Glen Country Club is seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Fairway Table, our family-friendly restaurant serving members and guests both indoors and poolside. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality menu items efficiently and consistently during service, working alongside the kitchen team to keep operations running smoothly during evenings, weekends, and Club events.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items to Club standards, following recipes and portion guidelines
Set up and stock assigned station(s) with all necessary supplies before service
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station throughout each shift
Work efficiently under pressure during peak service times, including evenings, weekends, and special events
Communicate clearly with other line cooks, kitchen staff, and FOH team to ensure smooth ticket flow
Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency before dishes leave the kitchen
Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
Assist with inventory, stocking, and basic prep work as needed
Help train and support new kitchen staff as needed
Qualifications
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality and consistency
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Availability to work evenings and weekends, including holidays and special events
Basic knowledge of food safety practices; food handler certification a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move kitchen equipment and supplies as needed
