Description
Line Lead
Willoughby, OH | Full-Time
Farm Fresh Flavor, Made Easy.
At Paisley Farm, we make the bean salads and pickled vegetables that land on dinner tables across the country. We’re part of The Fremont Company, family-owned since 1905, and we’re looking for a Line Lead who wants to run the show.
You’re the one the crew looks to. You fire up the line every morning, keep it humming all shift, and jump into any station when the team needs you. If you like being on your feet, solving problems, and seeing real product roll off the line because of your leadership, this is your job.
Your Schedule
- Typical schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 or 3:30 PM
- Must be flexible; Friday production, overtime, and weekends may be required based on production needs
What You’ll Do
- Own the morning startup and get the line ready to run
- Lead the crew across every station: glass line, filler, capper, onion chopper, batch kettles, and more
- Jump in wherever you’re needed to keep output strong
- Run changeovers and tune machines to keep the line at full speed
- Troubleshoot equipment and partner with Maintenance
- Walk the line to keep quality and safety on point
- Train and coach new team members
- Keep the floor audit-ready and production records accurate
What You Bring
- Food or manufacturing production experience; lead or trainer experience a plus
- Mechanical know-how and a knack for troubleshooting
- Forklift certification (or ability to get it)
- The confidence to lead a team on a fast-paced floor
- A sharp eye for quality and safety
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work Fridays, overtime, and weekends as production requires
What You Get
- $26.22/hour starting pay
- Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more
- Full hands-on training on every station
- Stability with a family-owned company that’s been around for 120 years
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for a full shift; crouch and climb stairs
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Loud, fast-paced environment with wet, hot, or cold conditions
- Required PPE: hair net, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, ear protection
