We're looking for a Loan Processing Manager who leads with that in mind: someone who builds a sharp, accountable team, keeps operations running like clockwork, and makes sure every member gets fast, accurate, compliant support from application to closing. What You'll Do

As Loan Processing Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our consumer and mortgage loan processing functions while leading a team dedicated to delivering outstanding service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of loan processing professionals.
  • Ensure loan files move efficiently through the pipeline while meeting established service and closing timelines.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate, compliant loan documentation.
  • Monitor loan conditions, approvals, and closing requirements to support seamless transactions.
  • Maintain compliance with credit union policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Develop, document, and improve department procedures and workflows.
  • Manage key vendor relationships supporting loan processing operations.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to measure performance, identify opportunities, and support decision-making.
  • Foster strong partnerships across departments to improve communication and efficiency.
  • Guide the team through change while promoting continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements

Experience

  • 3-5 years of lending, loan processing, operations, or related leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Experience managing priorities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Education :

Associate degree or relevant certification or licensing, specialized industry training,

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team development abilities.
  • Knowledge of consumer and mortgage lending operations.
  • Process improvement and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage compliance requirements and operational risk.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
