  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings including hospitals, doctor's offices and ambulatory surgery centers. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established medical protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians.
  • Conduct patient assessments-evaluate patient health status.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and give post-care instructions.

Qualifications

  • Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.
