Machinist I

• Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to):
• •Operate a range of machining equipment, such as lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and CNC machines, following established procedures and specifications.
• •Read blue prints, charts, and measuring equipment.
• •Make tooling changes and adjustments.
• •Expedite scheduled orders.
• •Utilize standard measuring tools in order to take readings, verify quality and document data.
• •Complete repetitive operations under detailed instructions.
• •Seek assistance for resolving difficult operating problems.
• •Maintain a safe work environment and uses proper safety devices as provided.
• •Abide by and actively promotes all facility safety guidelines and quality procedures.
• •Maintain a channel of communication between management and team members.
• •Monitor personal productivity to ensure that established quality and production levels are maintained to support the business mission statement.
• •Maintain 5-S Standards in work area.
• •Actively participate in plant improvement projects and teams.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.
