Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing all routine and scheduled MRI examinations while providing exceptional care and service to patients. This position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. , with additional scheduled hours and on-call responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• •Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders
• •Review and verify orders prior to procedures
• •Enter and process procedure requests accurately
• •Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations
• •Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
• •Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff

Requirements

Education & Certification Requirements

• •Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• •Completion of MRI competency requirements
• •MRI registry eligible, with completion required within one (1) year of hire
• •ARRT registered (RT[R]), MRI preferred but not limited
• •SCQRSA license (as required)
• •Current BLS certification

Experience

Venipuncture experience required
